Hello, my name is Ijeh, and I studied French Language but my love for languages didn’t stop there—I also developed a deep passion for teaching English. I’ve been teaching for a while now, and throughout this journey, I’ve had the joy of helping students from different countries and backgrounds grow in confidence, fluency, and self-expression. My experience ranges from teaching kids and teens to professionals, both online and in-person.

As a teacher, I bring patience, encouragement, a great sense of humor and I believe in creating a relaxed and friendly environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and learning from them. I tailor my lessons to each student’s needs, whether it’s grammar, conversation, pronunciation, vocabulary building, or preparing for interviews and presentations.

When I’m not teaching, you’ll find me reading, exploring different cultures, playing chess, learning about world history, music, and storytelling. I enjoy making classes interactive by including fun facts, real-life situations, and meaningful conversations.

If you’re looking for someone who truly cares about your progress and listens to your goals, then I’m the right teacher for you. In my class, you’ll be encouraged, supported, and challenged to grow at your own pace. Book a class with me today!

趣味
In my free time, I enjoy a variety of hobbies that keep me inspired and connected to the world around me. I love traveling and exploring new places—I've been to Benin Republic, Togo, and England, and each trip has given me a deeper understanding of different cultures and lifestyles. Along the way, I enjoy learning about the traditions, values, and daily life of people, and I also take pride in sharing my own culture with them. It's always a beautiful exchange! One of my favorite hobbies is reading, especially stories that carry deep messages or teach life lessons. I enjoy African literature like Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe and The Beautyful Ones Are Not Yet Born by Ayi Kwei Armah, as well as motivational eBooks and modern fiction. I'm also a big fan of playing chess. It's not just a game for me—it's a mental workout! It sharpens my strategic thinking, improves my focus, and teaches patience, which also helps me become a better teacher. Another unique hobby I enjoy is creating story-based lesson materials using African folktales or cultural stories, which makes learning English more meaningful and fun for my students. I also enjoy watching educational YouTube documentaries about different cultures, and sometimes I even create video content to teach others. Whether I’m on a new adventure, deep in a book, or teaching students across the world, my hobbies all revolve around learning, connecting, and growing—and that’s exactly what I bring into my classroom too.
