Opoku

Hello and welcome! My name is Opoku, and I’m excited to be your potential English teacher. I hold a degree in Adult Education and Psychology from the University of Ghana, and I am also a certified TEFL teacher with a 120-hour qualification. Although I’m relatively new to teaching English, my passion for education and my understanding of how people learn allow me to create a supportive and engaging classroom environment for my students. I’m eager to help you grow and achieve your language learning goals.

I believe in balancing structure and flexibility in my lessons, knowing that every student has unique needs and learning styles. My goal is to design lessons that are not only informative but also interactive and fun, whether you're just beginning or looking to enhance your skills. I find great joy in connecting with my students and watching their progress, which makes teaching an incredibly rewarding experience. In my lessons, you’ll be encouraged to improve your conversational fluency, expand your vocabulary, and build your confidence in English.

Outside of teaching, I have a wide range of interests, including swimming, football, golf, and snooker. I enjoy incorporating elements of these hobbies into my lessons to make learning more enjoyable and relatable. My hardworking nature drives me to continuously challenge myself and my students, while my thoughtful and detail-oriented side ensures that I’m always sensitive to each learner's individual progress.
