I’m excited to introduce myself as your potential English teacher. My name is Pumla, and I’m passionate about helping others learn. I completed an English teaching course and hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration, with several years of experience working at a senior management level.
I specialize in making difficult concepts, like pronunciation, easy to understand. In my classes, you’ll build confidence by starting with simple phrases for everyday use and gradually progressing to more complex sentence structures. My teaching style is patient and empathetic, ensuring you feel comfortable and confident as you learn.
Having lived in various countries due to my husband’s diplomatic work, I’ve gained an appreciation for diverse cultures, including Japanese culture. In my free time, I enjoy nature walks and bird watching. I recently started a journal collection of leaves from 15 different species of trees found in South Africa, such as the Highveld Protea, Coastal Silver Oak, and Natal Plum.
