Umana

Hello there! I’m Teacher Umana, a 4th-year graduating student pursuing a Bachelor of Secondary Education. I’m passionate about teaching and believe in making learning both fun and meaningful.

During my On-the-Job Training, I had the opportunity to spend almost four months teaching in a real classroom, where I worked with diverse students, created lesson plans, and gained practical experience. This has helped me understand how to adapt lessons to meet each learner’s needs.

I love guiding students at their own pace, and I believe that learning English can be enjoyable and effective when students feel safe, supported, and encouraged.

In my free time, I enjoy reading books, watching educational and inspiring videos, writing, and exploring music and storytelling. I also love learning about different cultures, which helps me bring a variety of perspectives into my lessons.

In my class, we’ll work on pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, and—most importantly—building your confidence in speaking. I strive to make lessons interactive, engaging, and tailored to your level and learning style.
