Hello, my name is Briar. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Architecture along with a Postgraduate Diploma in Education and a Teacher’s Registration. I have been teaching for a while, both formally and informally, and bring a wealth of experience across various subject areas, working with a wide range of students.
My hobbies include cooking, reading, watching adventure movies, and travelling. My love for the English language began in childhood, sparked by frequent visits to the library where I explored fun, illustrated books, captivating English tales, adventures, and classic nursery rhymes that fueled my imagination.
I teach English now as a way to share those joyful memories and to show students that learning the language can be fun, interactive, and deeply engaging.
I aim to create a supportive environment where everyone feels valued and encouraged to express themselves confidently.
