自己紹介

Hello! I'm Teacher Ravana, and I'm excited to meet you! I'm currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Education, majoring in Mathematics, which has further honed my passion for learning and sharing knowledge. I've been a Math teacher for three years in private schools and an ESL teacher for one year, specializing in helping adults achieve fluency. Teaching is what I love most because I enjoy helping students build confidence and master new skills. One of my students recently went from hesitant to confidently leading meetings in English after just a few months in my class!

Outside the classroom, I enjoy crocheting, reading, watching horror movies, and staying active with morning jogs—because a healthy mind and body make for a better teacher!

I believe learning English should be fun and exciting. That's why in my classes, I use a communicative approach, incorporating games, stories, and interactive activities to make learning easier and more enjoyable. I love teaching adults, tailoring my lessons to individual needs and focusing on practical communication skills. My courses typically involve role-playing, real-world scenarios, and personalized feedback to boost fluency and confidence.

In my free time, I enjoy expressing my creativity through crocheting, drawing, doing nail art, and landscaping. I also love unwinding with a good book, such as Atomic Habits by James Clear, The 48 Laws of Power, and The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen Covey. Additionally, I find excitement in watching Japanese horror movies like Occult (2009) by Koji Shiraishi, Cursed (2004), and Dead Girl Walking (2004). Most importantly, I prioritize staying healthy and active by making time for regular exercise
