Hello, my name is Buyisa. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Microbiology, and I’m currently studying towards my Honours degree in Environmental Monitoring and Modelling. I also have a TEFL certificate, which has helped me develop effective and flexible teaching strategies for English learners from different backgrounds.
My experience in teaching has taught me how to connect with students, especially teenagers. I enjoy creating a space where they feel confident and excited to participate. I like to keep my lessons relaxed, encouraging, and tailored to each learner’s needs, because I believe learning English should feel natural, not stressful.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy quiet moments with a good book or diving into thought-provoking stories in films. I also find inspiration in storytelling, whether it’s through literature or cinema. These hobbies help me stay creative and bring new ideas into my lessons.
My journey with English didn’t begin in the classroom; it grew from real curiosity and personal inspiration, and now I want to help others discover their own connection to the language. I don’t just want to teach rules and grammar; I want to help you use English confidently and enjoyably.
