My name is Teacher Funmi, and I’m very happy to be your English teacher. I studied English Education at university and have been teaching for a while. I love helping students—children, teenagers, and beginners—speak English with confidence. My classes are kind, patient, and fun. We learn English step by step, using games, songs, stories, pictures, and friendly conversation. Don’t worry if you make mistakes; that’s how we learn! I know English can feel difficult at first, but together, we will practice slowly and clearly. I will always smile and help you understand. In my class, you can feel safe, relaxed, and free to speak. - In my free time, I enjoy watching mystery and feel-good movies like Harry Potter and Home Alone, reading classic and modern books, and cooking Nigerian dishes like jollof rice. I’ve recently started listening to calming Japanese music by artists like Yoasobi and Aimer. Learning about different cultures also inspires me and helps me bring energy and connection to my classes.
