Pelumi

My name is Pelumi, and I studied English Language Education, earning a Bachelor of Education, which deepened my love for how powerful language can be. Although I may not have years of formal classroom experience yet, I have always enjoyed helping people learn and making English easier and more enjoyable. I am a friendly and patient teacher who creates a safe space where students can relax, have fun, and learn step by step. My classes focus not only on grammar and vocabulary but also on building confidence and helping students express themselves naturally in English. I design lessons that are lively, easy to follow, and tailored to each student’s interests, whether in travel, music, school, or daily life.

I enjoy reading inspiring stories, watching movies and series, listening to music, and exploring different cultures, which helps me bring creativity and curiosity into my lessons. I also enjoy walking, writing, and reflecting, which inspires me to connect with students in meaningful ways. In class, I encourage conversations, pronunciation practice, and practical grammar exercises that relate to real-life situations. Mistakes are seen as opportunities to learn, and I support students at every step of their learning journey. My goal is to make English learning enjoyable, effective, and confidence-building, so students feel proud of their progress and excited to continue improving.
