Pohang

Hello! Nice to meet you! My name is Teacher Pohang, and I’m very happy to meet you! I graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Secondary Education, major in English, and I am a licensed professional teacher. I have experience teaching Grade 4, junior high school, and senior high school students. Through these experiences, I discovered how much I enjoy helping learners improve their English and become more confident in expressing themselves.

For me, English is more than grammar and vocabulary. It is a language that helps us communicate, express our ideas, understand others, and connect with the world. In my classes, I enjoy helping students practice speaking and conversation while improving their grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and everyday English expressions.

One of my biggest interests is reading. I love exploring different genres, stories, and articles because reading allows me to discover new ideas, perspectives, places, and experiences. I enjoy learning new words and expressions through books, and I believe reading is a wonderful way to make English learning more natural and meaningful. I also enjoy sharing stories and interesting topics with my students so we can learn and practice English together.

Aside from reading, I enjoy watching Japanese dramas and anime, Korean series, listening to K-pop and Japanese songs—especially anime songs—and discovering new things. These interests give us many fun topics to talk about during our lessons.

As your teacher, I want my classes to be friendly, comfortable, and encouraging. I want you to feel safe to speak, make mistakes, ask questions, and express your ideas. Let’s learn English together, enjoy meaningful conversations, and build your confidence one step at a time. I hope to see you in my class soon!
