Hello! My name is Thembe, and I hold an Associate Degree in Education with a focus on English and Portuguese. I am also TEFL certified, which has allowed me to further develop my teaching skills. For the past two years, I’ve been teaching English to young learners, and it has been a truly enjoyable and rewarding experience. I am passionate about creating engaging and fun lessons that help my students succeed.
My teaching approach centers around ensuring all my learners feel supported and motivated throughout their learning journey. We will engage in various activities that are not only enjoyable but also effective in enhancing your language skills. I believe learning should be an interactive experience, and I strive to make each lesson enjoyable while ensuring it meets your unique needs. Creating a comfortable space for my students is important to me, where they feel confident to ask questions and explore new concepts.
Outside of teaching, I love to travel, meet new people, and learn about different cultures. I also enjoy reading novels, watching TV, and spending quality time with my family. Teaching has always been a dream of mine, and my passion for it began when I was a child, imitating my teacher at home. What excites me the most about teaching is seeing the improvement in my students and knowing I played a part in their progress.
