Grethel先生は英語を専攻し、中等教育の学士号を取得しました。学生の頃から講師のアルバイトをしており、英語を教えた経験も豊富です。音楽鑑賞や読書が趣味で、子どもや犬も大好きです。性格は忍耐強くフレンドリーで、面白い一面もあります。教師という仕事に誇りを持っており、生徒さんたちの目標達成に向けて自分の知識を共有していきたいと思っています。

自己紹介

According to Cicero, " When you wish to instruct, be brief; that men's minds take in quickly what you say, learn its lessons, and retain it faithfully. Every word that is unnecessary only pours over the side of a brimming mind." Hello there! My name is Grethel Ann Guiroy but you can call me Grethel. I graduated with a Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in English at the University of Cebu Lapu-Lapu and Mandaue. I have had ESL teaching experience for quite some time. Teaching has been my passion since I was a child. In fact, I have taught children younger than me before and I was even a tutor for my younger cousins. When I was in college, I also did tutorial services for some children in our place. I love teaching because for me teaching is a very rewarding and fulfilling career. I enjoy interacting and talking with people and it is so good to know that you can help them reach their goals. You should book my class because I am friendly, patient and sometimes funny. I welcome questions from my students. I believe that each one of us has a different learning curve, which is why teachers must understand that there are different types of learners.
