自己紹介

Hello! My name is Ignara. I am a third-year college student, and I study Financial Management. I may not have formal ESL teaching experience yet, but I’ve coached and guided different groups through my experience as a Virtual Associate; helping others learn has always been my strength. I also enjoy presenting and reporting—my classmates always say they learn a lot and have fun when I speak. These experiences helped me become more confident, patient, and creative, which are also important in teaching.

I love watching anime and movies during my free time, especially sci-fi, horror, true story, survival, and apocalyptic films. I love to sing and/or dance when I am feeling extra energetic. Cooking is also one of my favorite things to do, especially when I’m making food for other people to enjoy. I find joy in doing simple things that make others happy. I started loving English when I was in 9th grade because my teacher taught it in a fun and creative way. I want to give my students the same feeling—of enjoying the lesson while actually learning something new.

I enjoy doing many different things in my free time, and I bring that same energy and passion when I teach! One of my favorite hobbies is watching anime. I love all kinds, but my current top three are Black Clover, One Piece, and Attack on Titan. I also enjoy Western movies, especially in the genres of sci-fi, horror, true stories, survival, and apocalyptic films like The Conjuring, Manifest, and Society of the Snow. I'm always open to recommendations and love anything with a thrilling or thought-provoking plot. Another favorite of mine is watching K-dramas—my current top three are Strong Girl Bong-soon, Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo, and When Life Gives You Tangerines. 🎬 I also enjoy Japanese horror movies, especially ones that are unique and intense. My top three right now are Re/Member, As the Gods Will, and TAG. When it comes to cooking, I love making Filipino dishes like adobo, sinigang, lumpia, caldereta, and more. I also enjoy exploring other cuisines by following online cooking tutorials—it’s always fun to try something new! 🍲 Dancing is another big part of my life. I mainly dance Hip Hop and have even joined school competitions. It helps me express myself and stay active. 🕺 I also enjoy editing videos, especially for school projects, creative ideas, or fun vlogs. Sometimes I post them online, but often I just keep them as personal memories. 📹 In general, I love learning new things, even if they seem difficult at first.
