自己紹介
Hi! Good day! I'm Nara. I graduated with a Bachelor of Elementary Education Major in General Content at Talisay City College. I love reading books, playing badminton, and watching documentary films. Aside from that, I really love to teach foreign students. I have quite a long ESL experience. Teaching is very fulfilling because you meet a lot of students and learn about their cultures and beliefs. I really want to impart my knowledge and learning to the students who are willing to learn or need it the most. And of course, I am here to help you enhance your English language skills. Today I talked with Teacher Nara for the first time in one and a half months.
2022-01-04editKozoI asked her about the situation she and her family are facing after the super typhoon Odette hit the central Philippines.
She said she and her family members were safe though the half of her house roof was blown off by strong wind and they were suffering from the suspension of water supply and electricity. Now they have to pump up water from a well and boil it to use as drinking water.
She also said it is lucky to charge her smartphone at Kimini office while electricity is not available in almost all parts of Cebu even now.
But she looked optimistic in such a hard time anyway. So I fully realized that Filipinos are really strong in adversity.
Teacher Nara, thank you very much for telling me what is going on in Cebu.
I hope you and other teachers will return to normal life as soon as possible.
