自己紹介

Hello there!

Congratulations on your decision to learn English! That is a bold and wonderful choice, and I am proud of you. My name is Soma, and I am here to help you speak English in a fun and simple way. I truly look forward to being a part of your journey.

I have always been passionate about teaching and learning. I hold a bachelor's degree and am currently a postgraduate student in education at a university in my home country, Ghana. For a few years now, I have had the privilege of teaching English to beginners from different parts of the world, including France, Japan, Germany, and China. I have successfully taught students of all ages in a relaxed, fun, and stress-free environment. In my class, you will learn new vocabulary to help you speak everyday English with confidence. You don't have to worry about making mistakes at all; just relax, be yourself, and enjoy this exciting learning journey with me. I am here to support you every step of the way, and I know you will find joining my class very rewarding.

Outside of teaching, I love reading, cooking, swimming, dancing, singing, exercising, watching anime, and enjoying comedy and action movies—and occasionally, I even do some acting!

Learning a new language can sometimes feel challenging and cause anxiety, which is why I structure my lessons to be simple, fun, and smooth. We will use plenty of examples and practical speaking exercises to help you feel at ease, happy, and confident. I truly believe that anyone can learn a new language at any time and at any age. Because of this, I teach with kindness and patience, ensuring every lesson is easy to understand. Together, we will share practical stories, engaging lessons, and games that will naturally build your language skills.

I love cooking new and interesting meals from around the world, rock climbing, reading mystery and crime stories, and watching lions, cheetahs, and tigers on television and online. I absolutely adore big cats—I've watched The Lion King and its sequels 24 times and even named my house cat Simba! (He's so big and fluffy.) I also enjoy swimming, dancing, jogging, and just running in the rain—because I never want the child in me to fade away. I love singing, and I'm occasionally an actor, which I also get to share by teaching acting classes to young people on the weekends. And I could listen to jazz all day—it's so relaxing for both the body and mind.
